It is suburb situated 12.2 miles (16.4 km) west northwest of central London. Harrow has excellent transportation link to central London.
World Sikh University (WSU) London was launched in November 1997. Its courses are accredited by FVG Antwerp, Belgium. The University has distinguished alumni, belonging to different faiths, for M.A and Ph.D. degrees in the last 12 years of its operations.
The University has been approved as an Education provider by DFES [no. 15312], and is also on the register of DIUS (Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills). In 2008 it was inspected by Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) and was accredited as a Premier Institution.
The University has scholars of prominence on its staff list and imparts full time, part-time and distance learning courses.
